In the lake full of crisis, does India stand strong enough?

If there was a chart for anti national marking system, asking questions would be one of the major factor for India to top the chart. Bursting questions on government's agenda to prove your patriotism is an eternal process for liberandus. Calling them anti-national and being foolish to accept whatever government does is rather obnoxiously worse. Like wise, opposing everything government does as the Gandhi parivar has been doing for a while is totally unwelcoming.

But where are the answers that a common man seeks? If a treasury to such answers were made public by the government, would "Acche din" arrive actually? Maybe. But if the show is on, isn't it the job of our beloved prime minister to come ahead and answer questions that people of India have? Maybe a press conference. Just to make this clear, it's been 13 years since modi ji picked up the glass of water and removed his mic from collar and uttered the words, "Hamari dosti bani rahe". If backstage announcements had a name, Mann ki Baat would be one of them.

Coming to the crisis that India is facing currently, is it okay to blame government for the enormity of the situation? The glass here is half filled. Let's see how.

सरकार से सात सवाल

सवाल #१

Why does the EIA 2020 draft (Yet to be passed) has such drastic and absurd changes?

Being an Indian has its own perks. You can always see the political leaders being hypocrites and introspect about it. " I would never want to be a guy like him".

E-I-A. Environment Impact Assessment draft of 2020 has some real contentious changes in it. One of them is the post facto clearance. If an existential project keeps on harming the environment, no actions would be taken against it. Instead by the new law, that project can get the clearance by environmental ministry anytime later. Secondly, if any project is described as "Strategic" project by the government or the offender himself, the people of that area or nearby cannot point out the harm it does to them in a way or other. Only government or the owner of that project can state weather it is relevant to run such a project or not. Coming to the next one, there was a public hearing process which was conducted to understand what the people of area where the project might take place think about the project. The time period was 30 days which was already very less and now has been brought down to 20 days. A project that takes averagely around 3 years to come to existence cannot be clearly judged in 20 days. Also, the former environment minister Jairam Ramesh said that the EIA 2020 draft is "Strongly Objecting".

सवाल #२

If everything about PM CARES fund is absolutely correct and the money is being used as government officials suggests, why are they conducting an audit by Independent auditor? On the contrary, how much is this suspicious audit reliable?

PM cares fund has faced quite an accurate amount of criticism due to its secret nature and the large amount of moolah that was collected by it. Criticism isn't that the money isn't being used in an appropriate manner. All we ask for is the proper audit from a reliable department. The people of India donated it for the welfare of country and government replies it with "PM CARES is not a public authority". Isn't that contradictory?

सवाल #३

Why the excise duty on fuel has touched sky? Also, why wasn't the price reduced for the people of India when after many ages, the fuel hit 0 per barrel?

The price on the fuel was raised everyday for 21 days little by little. India pays the highest taxes on fuel currently comparing to anywhere in the world. The average petrol price sums up around for Rs79-80 per litre. Almost 64% and 63% of taxes are levied on petrol and diesel respectively. This issue has a defendable arguement that due to crisis the government lacks funds and need to grow prices for running the nation. Just a question here is, how do you expect a common man to deal with this scenario where he suffered an economical pushback due to the pandemic and now is running for the survival?

सवाल #४

Why hasn't government yet implemented 4-10 lockdown strategy inspite of hike in number of covid cases in country?

A model of combining work with the conditions of a pandemic has been proposed by a group of experts led by Uri Alon, a professor at the Weizmann Institute of Sciences in Israel, and has already caught the attention of authorities in several countries. The biologist plans to battle Covid-19 using his own cycle. This translates into the 4/10 formula, which essentially means allowing citizens to return to work for four days and then remain isolated for another 10 days.

"According to the information we currently have on Covid-19, most carriers did not infect others during the first four days after becoming infected. From the fifth day, there is a period of 72 hours (three days) in which they are infectious," explains Alon.

"Therefore, if someone were to become infected during the days in which they are working, they would later be quarantined on the days in which they can infect the rest, in such a way that the risk is reduced," he added.

सवाल #५

Why were the concept DEMONETIZATION & GST removed from syllabus of political science(Added to alternative academic calendar) when everyone is bragging that it were a masterstroke?

Keeping such topics aside, Secularism is also removed from syllabus of CBSE. Surprisingly, Democracy has also been slashed out of the syllabus. Keeping the minds of future generation in dark was the first step Hitler took towards the dictatorship worthy country he intended to make. Hitler made changes to the school curriculum. Education in "racial awareness" began at school and children were constantly reminded of their racial duties to the "national community". Children learnt about "worthy" and "unworthy" races. Are we going to face the same dictatorship as the democracy has been eliminated from the curriculum and added to alternative academic? Is this the first step? And all this in the name of "Reducing stress of students".

सवाल #६

Why is the Namami Gange project stuck on 37% of completion of project even after 5 years?

Almost about 5 months are left for the promise that BJP made in 2015 to be completed and that is the Namami Gange Project. Keeping lockdown period of 3 and almost half month in account at least 39-40% of work should have been completed. But even after 5 years of the launching day, 37% is the achievement.

NOTE:- This data is relevant to the work done pre-covid 19.

सवाल #७

What are government's further economical reforms for the revival of economy? How much DBT (Direct Benifit Transfer) is government planning in the following months?

We are all well known about the scenario India is facing regarding economical crunch. If no better actions are taken, this can also lead to mass destruction of the economical growth as well as greater and greater job losses in the entire country. Government needs to workout the aftermath of the situation and act accordingly.

Thus, coming to the end, this are the few questions we, you and I should ask government. It doesn't make us anti national, it enhances our knowledge of the country. I love my country and that's what urges me to ask more and more questions. This is what nation actually wants to know. Thank you for reading. Also, subscribe to my website for the notification of content added further to this.

PS. The government has come up with a suggestion box about EIA 2020 draft. I have tried making it easy for all of you to understand where the problem arises. You can mail about the problems you think are concerned to the environmental health of the country. The deadline is 11th August 2020.
